Our Team

Kirk Freedle is a Chartered Financial Consultant. He has been assisting fire fighters, municipalities, individuals and businesses with their investment and financial planning since 1994. His years of experience in planning have resulted in many successful long-term relationships. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Colorado State University. Kirk is a third generation Colorado native who enjoys fly fishing, skiing, and golf. He lives in Brighton Colorado with his wife Tiffany and his daughters Skylar and Addison.

Chris Metscher is a Certified Financial Planner^TM professional with an established practice specializing in retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management for successful individuals, as well as employee and executive benefit programs for small to medium-size businesses.  Chris began building his financial planning practice in 1999 after an eight-year aviation management career with AMR Corporation, parent company to American Airlines. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Texas A&M University.  He and his wife have two adult children and currently live in Aurora.  He is an avid golfer and fisherman and holds his private pilot license.

Collin Metscher spent two years in management consulting supporting change management for corporate clients before following in his father’s footsteps.  Since joining IFP in 2021, he has enjoyed having a positive impact on clients’ lives by helping them discover their unique path towards their financial goals.  He graduated from Colorado State University with a Business degree.  He is an Eagle Scout and holds his Series 65.  He enjoys getting outdoors to fly fish and hunt alongside his dog, Ranger. 

Lagen McLachlan is an investment advisor representative and obtained his Series 65 license in April of 2022.  He earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration from Colorado State University in 1995, and computer information systems from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2001.  Lagen is a Colorado native and enjoys golfing, traveling, and assisting clients with their investment decisions. 

Addie Freedle is a recent graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Financial Planning. She holds her Series 65 and has been building a strong foundation in comprehensive financial planning since joining IFP. Addie stays involved in the business community as a District Director for the University of Denver chapter of Delta Sigma Pi. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, crafting, Pilates, and spending time with family and friends.

Skylar Freedle is a recent graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Business Administration and Human Resources Management. Since joining IFP in the summer of 2023, she has begun the learning process towards advising clients and earning her Series 65 certification. She enjoys reading, hiking & skiing in the Colorado mountains, and spending time with family and friends.

Marietta is an enthusiastic and innovative professional with extensive experience working in the state judicial field and in administration and office management.  She has cultivated a harmonious and fastidious work environment within the firm that allows her to graciously represent the face of our firm when meeting and corresponding with new and old clients alike.  Marietta is a Colorado native and enjoys cooking, shopping and spending time outdoors with her husband and two beautiful daughters.  

Ranger's job is to lay under Collin’s desk, sleeping and ensuring that all meetings stay on track.  “I do this by getting up and stretching as a gentle hint that the meeting has gone on long enough, and now it’s time to pay attention to me.” says Ranger.
